A lack of daylight or an incorrect lighting concept can lead to complaints that result in a lack of concentration and a decline in performance. Hazards such as an increased risk of accidents can be easily avoided thanks to the use of workplace luminaires. Individual lighting should be selected depending on the activity. A mixture of direct and indirect lighting is best. Indirect lighting can be achieved with ceiling luminaires, for example. The place where employees work should also be illuminated directly by a lamp. This helps avoid unpleasant and disturbing reflections.

What are daylight luminaires suitable for?
Not every office can be permanently lit by the sun. In order not to lose the positive effects that come from absorbing sunlight, daylight people are used.
These luminaires are often mounted on ceilings of rooms to distribute the light over a large area and evenly in the room. Natural sunlight usually enters at an angle of 45 to 90 degrees, and this orientation should be maintained when mounting ceiling luminaires.
The German Workplaces Ordinance (ArbStättV) also imposes certain requirements. Rooms may only be operated if they receive sufficient daylight. This requirement can be easily met by using daylight luminaires.
Daylight luminaires can be installed in every room of a company. For rooms where a pleasant, positive and productive atmosphere is required, such as meeting rooms, break rooms, stand-by rooms, open-plan offices or canteens, we recommend you take a look at our extensive range.

Similarities with real sunlight?
The term daylight luminaire comes from the fact that the light colour is reminiscent of the light conditions of the midday sun. To prevent the unhealthy spectrum of the daylight produced from falling on the retina, all luminaires have a UV filter. This works like sunglasses, protecting the eyes from the sun's rays without, however, darkening the light. Like sunlight, daylight lamps can stimulate the body to release more serotonin while reducing the production of melatonin. As a result, employees are in a better mood and generally happier. This leads to increased work performance and a more positive working atmosphere.

LED workplace luminaires
Optimal illumination at the workplace is essential for working well and efficiently. In areas such as electronics production, however, the light from ceiling lamps is usually not sufficient, which is why LED workplace luminaires can be used to help.
