In our ESD basic training, you will learn all the important terminology and rules of conduct on the subject of ESD protection and electrostatic discharge. Our ESD specialist Dirk Schwenner will show you the various possible dangers of electrostatic discharge using different examples and explain ways to avoid damage.
The various scenarios that can result in an electrostatic discharge and thus damage sensitive electronic components, for example, are presented with vivid images and video material. Furthermore, the detailed audio recordings available and for each course section make it possible to learn all the important details and information.
The learning speed can be chosen individually and according to requirements in order to provide all participants with as much knowledge as possible on the subject of ESD. At the end of the online training, this knowledge is checked by means of a questionnaire - if necessary, it is possible to repeat the course content in order to be able to prepare for the questions in the best possible way.

Successful compliance with effective ESD protection requires that employees are made aware of the subject of ESD so that the necessity of protective measures is understood - and that they are complied with. To protect against damaging ESD in the electronics processing industry, international experts have developed standards that define the principles of ESD protection. The content of our training courses consistently follows the standards IEC 61340-5-1:2016.
